Kathleen L. Mesler

On Monday, September 22, 2025, Kathleen L. (Lininger) Mesler, 75, of York, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was the devoted wife of Thomas Mesler for 53 years. Kathy was born on July 28, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Samuel L. and Evelyn (Schroeder) Lininger. After graduating high school from Bethel Park High School, she received an Associate's Degree from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh.

Kathy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in York. In her spare time, she enjoyed many crafts such as crocheting and doing bead work, but she was also a great cook that enjoyed cooking and baking. What she loved most was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Tom; two children, Kandice Geiple and husband Zach, and John Mesler and wife Becca; one brother, Tom Lininger and wife Janet; and four grandchildren, Rowan, Finley, Lea and Jay.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 950 West Market St., York, PA 17401. Interment will be private at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
