Kathleen Louise Meyer (née Corcoran) peacefully passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 80 after an extended illness. Kathy was born November 12,1945 in Cincinnati. She graduated from St. William Parish School in 1959 and from Seton High School in 1963. She was a dedicated longtime employee of the Hamilton County Board of Elections, retiring in 2009.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren in their athletic and extracurricular activities, working puzzles, and cheering for the Bearcats, Reds, and Bengals.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fritz, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, parents Louise (née Goldschmidt) and Bill Corcoran, mother- and father-in-law Mary Ann and Wiz Meyer, sister and brother-in-law Patty and Chuck Peck, sister Peggy Sexton, and brother Jim Corcoran.
She is survived by her children Chris (Mary) Meyer, Brad (Michelle) Meyer, and Kim (Steve) Stigler; grandchildren Rachel, Meredith, Erin, and Kristen Meyer, and Stephen (Alyssa Tilton), Sydney, Ryan, and Derek Stigler; great-grandson Colton Stigler; sisters Mimi (Denny) Borchers, Shelly (Dick) Jennings, and Joanie (Jim) Schroth; brothers-in-law Don Sexton, Jerry (Lysle) Meyer, and Tim (Joyce) Meyer; sisters-in-law Gale Noel (Lee Slocum) and Jo Corcoran, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The Meyer family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Bayley Place for their compassionate care of Kathy.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Ln. in Cincinnati on Friday, December 19 from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. William Catholic Church. Please no flowers. Memorial donations in Kathy’s name may be made to Bayley Place, 990 Bayley Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.
