Kathleen R. Mosig Moyer
Kathleen (Reimer) Mosig Moyer passed away on October 27, 2025. She married W. Richard Mosig, Jr. in 1972 at Lehigh University Chapel. They built a beautiful house and lived in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. After Rick's untimely and tragic death in 1995 of a fatal car accident, she met David Moyer in 1997, and they were married in 2002 in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania Upper Saucon Township. Kathleen was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. Reimer and Dorothy (Dutt) Reimer. Kathleen graduated from Muhlenberg College and The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She was Director of Pharmacy at Allentown Hospital and later self-employed, owning Village Apothecary in Emmaus. She also taught Pharmacy at Merck Pharmaceuticals in Lansdale. Kathleen loved animals, sports (baseball) and boating and fishing with David on the Canadian side of the Thousand Islands in Gananoque. Kathleen also loved music, particularly playing the organ and piano. She was the pipe organist at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. At her aunt's house in Long Island, New York, she even played the organ for Warren Buffet! She was known as a hard worker and was known for her devotion to her husbands. As Kathleen always said "Go Phillies"!!
She was predeceased by a sister Cynthia Ann (Reimer) Moyer
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Monday, from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Animals in Distress in Limeport, the American Cancer Society or Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania.
