Obituary

Mrs. Kathleen E. (Barrett) Reynolds, a resident of Braintree, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of Michael F. Reynolds, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Friday, July 18, 2025. She was 51 years old. Born in Columbia, Maryland, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of John R. and Betty J. (Wilkinson) Barrett and sibling of John J Barrett of Haverhill and Michael P Barrett (predeceased).
An Andover High School graduate, Kathleen went on to graduate from Keene State College. She had been a paraprofessional at the Doherty Middle School in Andover and the Bancroft School. The main focus of her life was her family, husband of 25 years, daughter Emma and son Gabriel. Cooking and gardening and home improvement filled her days. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoyed playing board and video games with her family and friends. She enjoyed visual art, like pencil sketching and coloring. She was always surrounded with dear friends. She lived a happy life. She will be dearly missed.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Joseph Church, 20 Highvale Lane, Andover on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
