Kathleen Hatfield Rutherford

Kathleen Hatfield Rutherford of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born on November 8, 1933, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to John Hatfield and Dorothy Dennis Hatfield. Kathleen was primarily a homemaker. She also worked for Bear Brand Hosiery and Shaffer's Food Mart. Kathleen also managed her rental properties. She married the love of her life, Fred "Mac" Rutherford in 1951. She never remarried after his passing in 1988. Kathleen was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her loving husband, Mac Rutherford, two brothers, JC and LC Hatfield, one son, Bruce Gene Rutherford, and one grandson, Anthony Gene Rutherford.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Renee Rutherford and companion Rodney Long of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Tamhra Sue Rutherford Boles and husband Jeff of Durham, California; six grandchildren, Hayley Jari Holmes of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Fabian Gene Rutherford of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Lance Alan Boroughs and companion Charlotte Wagner of Bentonville, Arkansas, Dorothy Michelle Savage Whitten and husband Clay of Centerton, Arkansas, Casy Dale Draper of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Clay Demery Draper and wife Summer of Rogers, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Arkansas.
