Kathleen Still Obituary
Proud sister of James "Mike" Thompson and Annemarie (Hal) Peterson. Loving grandmother to Samantha (Benjamin) Pawelski, Jane, and Jacob Dillig. Beloved aunt to Erika (Thad) Fitzgerald, Sean Kelly, and Michael (Jessamy Meyer) Thompson, great grandma to Joseph and Abigail and grand-aunt to Elliott. Further survived by many family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Elaine Thompson and her daughter Maureen Still.
Kathy was a quiet lady and a kind soul who was always comfortable with her own company. Despite her physical deafness, she still heard what anyone had to say. As her time grew shorter, the time that others spent with her, cousins helping her to appointments, visiting with her in her home, or just holding her hand, meant the world to her. She was so grateful for everyone. Quieting her fears and confirming that she was loved. You were always welcome in her home, in her life. Her absence will be felt profoundly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to National Association of the Deaf (NAD).
Per the family wishes private services will be held.

Kathy absolutely adored her family. My son, Sean Kelly, had the privilege to be with her when she drew her last breath. They cried together. She fought until the very end. I am proud of her. She was my only sister.

Kathy was my sister in law for over 18 years. My wife, Annemarie was her only sister. She is taking it hard. We have beautiful memories of her visits to our home in Franklin Wisconsin and then to our home in Surprise, Arizona. She is profoundly missed by all of the lives she touched for 77 years.
