Kathryn "Kathy" B. Hall (nee Miller), 82, of Grafton, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Kathy was born on January 27, 1943, in Cleveland, OH to Robert S. and Dorothy M. (nee Starrett) Miller.
Kathy graduated from North Olmsted High School, class of 1961. She furthered her education attending Muskingham University for 2 years, then continued for the next 2 years at Bowling Green University earning a degree in education.
Kathy began her career in teaching in the North Olmsted, Columbia Station and North Ridgeville school districts. She also served in Custom Housing Sales for Shore West Construction in North Olmsted.
Later, Kathy worked as a Preplanning Specialist for the Busch Funeral Home, selling primarily for the Elyria community.
She was very active in her faith and enjoyed singing with the Good News Messengers and was a member of the Jolly 60's. Kathy enjoyed spending time at the YMCA in Avon and using her talent for crafting in making cards.
Everyone who knew Kathy knew the world was brighter because of her personality and love for everyone.
Kathy is survived by daughter Kris Miller and son Scott Kier; grandchildren Kari, Brad, Katie, J.C. and Tyler; many great grandchildren; brother Dann Miller; brother-in-law Tom White; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by significant other Jack Hewitt, parents Robert and Dorothy Miller, sister Judy White, daughter-in-law Deanna Kier, sister-in-law Bonnie Miller, and nephew Mike Miller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 10am-11am with the funeral service to follow at 11am at the Busch Funeral Home 114 Second St., Elyria. Burial to take place at Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton.
