With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn "Katie" Huebschen on September 21, 2025, at the age of 58. Katie's life was a reflection of love, creativity, and compassion.

Born on March 15, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Lynne and Tom Patmore, Katie brought warmth and kindness into every room she entered. She later made her home in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she continued to spread joy through her thoughtful and generous spirit.

Her artistic soul shone in everything she did-quilting, mosaics, drawing, sewing, and crafting handmade gifts for the people she loved.

Katie had a deep love for people and an extraordinary gift for thinking of others. She devoted herself to caring for the residents at New Perspective Retirement Home, where she worked with dedication and tenderness. Her compassion left a lasting mark on the lives of many, especially the elderly she cared for with such gentle grace.

A true cat lover, Katie shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Sweetie, her loyal companion and best friend. She also found joy in reading, listening to music, and filling her home with the comforting aromas of home-cooked meals and baked treats.

Katie was a devoted wife to her husband, Mark Huebschen, who lovingly cared for her throughout their 27 years of marriage. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Ally Huebschen, who carries forward her mother's kindness and creativity. Katie was also a cherished sister to John and Cara Lee Patmore, and a beloved daughter to Lynne and Tom Patmore.

She was a devoted aunt to her kind and thoughtful niece, Anna Patmore, and is also survived by many other extended family members and friends-each of whom was touched by her generosity, warmth, and gentle spirit.

Katie's life was a testament to the power of love-expressed not in grand gestures, but in quiet acts of kindness, handcrafted gifts, and the unwavering care she gave to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
