Robert "Bob" James Adamczak, age 79, of Greendale, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Genevieve (Dembowiak) and Harry Adamczak.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Timothy and David; and sister, Marguerite (Don) Waterhouse.

He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Brooke; son, Mark (Erika) Adamczak; daughter, Cathy (Andy) Adrian; grandsons, Eric and Nick Adrian; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends. He was so proud of Mark, Cathy, Andy, Eric and Nick for their accomplishments and successes.

A draftee, Bob served in the US Army from 1967 to 1968 during the Vietnam War, earning the rank of Corporal. His family is extremely proud of his service.

Bob dedicated half of his work career to Caterpillar as a cost accountant and the other half to the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through decades of hard work and commitment.

Bob embraced life with a spirit of adventure. He spent countless hours motorcycling across the US with Brooke and friends, bicycling daily accumulating thousands of miles over the years. He was a talented woodworker, building beautiful furniture. An avid sports fan, especially of tennis, golf, and NFL football, and was a passionate player of both golf and tennis in earlier years. He also loved word games that kept him sharp.

A military honors service will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin, on October 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice and/or the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
