Kathryn M. "Kathy " Neitzel, born on February 22, 1958, in Bay City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, in her beloved hometown, after a brief illness. Kathy was a cherished individual who dedicated her professional life as serving the public at First of America, then National City and PNC Bank. She made many wonderful friends during her 20 + years of banking service. Her career then took a major shift to the Wirt Stone Dock Co. in Saginaw where she was the office manager for 13 years retiring in March 2024. She met many wonderful people in the stone world and trucking industry

Kathy was known for her radiant smile that could light up any room and her outgoing personality that drew people to her. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, especially her cherished grandson, Drew Andrzejewski her “Bambino”. Kathy actively participated in Drew’s life, attending his sporting events both in person and through the excitement of watching him on television.

Outside of her devotion to her family, Kathy enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She had a passion for cruising, relishing the adventures and experiences each journey offered. One of her favorite pass times was sitting on her deck in her back yard watching the dogs run around the pool while playing online keno, that was her happy place. Kathy's interests reflected her dynamic spirit and zest for life.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, David A. Neitzel; daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Jason Andrzejewski; grandson, Drew Andrzejewski; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and John Roszatycki; niece and goddaughter, Beth Roszatycki; as well as her dog, Gucci, and her granddog, Berkey. She was also fondly surrounded by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy Scott, Rich and Jane Neitzel, Bruce Neitzel, and Lynn Spencer; several nieces and nephews; and close family members, the Bill Wiechec Family and the Mike Smith Family.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elaine (Luczak) Wiechec; her in-laws, Richard and Marlene (Lesniak) Neitzel; her brother-in-law, Craig Neitzel; her uncle and aunt, Stanley and Delores Wiechec; and her cousin, Barb Smith.

Her memory will be held dear by all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Gephart Funeral Home, located at 201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service conducted by E.J.
