Kathryn Ann Kenzik

Kathryn Ann Kenzik passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was 96 years old. She is survived by her children Leo (the late Marilyn) Kenzik and Linda Kenzik. She also leaves behind siblings, Robert (Maryann) Lasky, Helen Truskolaski (Ed), and Mary Jane Goodwin.

Kathryn was born to the late John and Susan (nee Sim) Lasky on October 12,1929 in Lorain, Ohio. She was one of nine children in the Lasky household. Kathryn went on to work in the Clearview School District in Lorain, Ohio. She started off as a substitute and eventually became a cook serving children for 25 years before retiring.

Kathryn met her husband Leo, and they got married in 1947. They were married for 31 years before his death in 1978.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, parents John and Susan Lasky; siblings Albert Lasky, John (Margie) Lasky, Geraldine Lasky, Mildred Halasz, and Shirley James.

Services for Kathryn will be held at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria, Ohio 44035. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, with visitation at 10 am and a service at 11:00 am. Christian Burial will follow immediately at Calvary Cemetery, 555 North Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44053.
