William "Bill" V. Kenzik, III, 89, Algoma, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at Autumn's Journey in Algoma, WI.
Bill was born on March 13, 1936, to the late William II and Elizabeth (Woodall) Kenzik in Dayton, Ohio. Bill grew up in Dayton, Ohio and then attended General Motors Institute in Michigan to earn his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married Arlene Braun on July 23, 1960, in McCartyville, Ohio. She preceded him in death in 1991. Bill later met Marietta Schmitt. They were married on August 6, 1994, at St. Mary's Church in Algoma.
Bill retired from Emerson Motors. He was a fourth degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Bill enjoyed attending racing at Elkhart Lake, watching racing, and playing golf.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marietta, his two children: Michelle (Greg) LeCaptain, Beaver Dam and Brian (Kim) Kenzik, Sturgeon Bay; his step-children, Charles (Melissa) Schmitt, Algoma, Mary Beth (Jerry) Bjarnarson, Sturgeon Bay, Lisa (Ron) Langer, Fort Atkinson; son-in-law, Brian Brodbeck; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Sam Lampone) LeCaptain, De Pere, David (Ashley) LeCaptain, Janesville; step grandchildren, Robert Hicks, Jason (Sue) Hicks, Derek (Lauren) McLain, Matthew Brodbeck, Emily Brodbeck; step great-grandchildren, Riley Hicks, Kendra Hicks, Brenen Hicks, and Camaron Hicks; sister, Barbara (Don) Sturgeon.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Arlene; an infant daughter Theresa; and step-daughter, Ann Brodbeck; his sister and brother-in-law: Lois and Ronald Pierce; and brother-in-law, Eldon Koutsky.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Algoma. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Peter Onyango and Fr. Tony Birdsall officiating. Entombment to take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Sturgeon Bay.
