We celebrate the life of Kathryn (Kathi) Needles, a devoted wife, mother, nurse, and cherished friend. She was happily married to Frank from 1974 until his passing in 2022, and together they built a family filled with love, raising four children: Tim, Kerry, Brian, and Tommy, who predeceased her. Kathi dedicated decades to caring for others as a registered nurse on the OB/GYN floor at St. Charles Hospital, where she also served as a proud member of the nurses’ union until her retirement in 2017. Her compassion and commitment touched countless lives. Beyond her work, Kathi found joy in the simple and beautiful things—time with friends on the beach, the energy of live music and concerts, creating art, and enjoying movies and television. She shared her days with her beloved dog, Penny, and surrounded herself with a wonderful circle of friends. She remained deeply proud of her Irish Catholic heritage, staying close with her siblings—Patti, Claire, Peggy, Jimmy, and the late Laurie—as well as her many nieces and nephews. Kathi’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the laughter she shared, and the memories she leaves behind.
