Kathryn Marie O'Connor beloved mother and grandmother, formerly of Waverly, Ohio, went home to her Lord and Savior on October 13, 2025 at the age of 78, in Richmond, Michigan.
The first of 3 daughters, Kathryn was born to Albert and Ella Reed in Whitefish, Montana on December 21, 1946. In 1951 Kathryn's family moved to the Anaconda, Montana area. Kathryn graduated High School in 1965 from Anaconda High School. She then attended Montana Tech.
In 1967 while working at a bank in Boulder, Montana, Kathryn met the love of her life Bill O'Connor. He invited her to go fishing, she went and Bill proposed to her that day. They married 3 months later, on November 25, 1967. They had 2 daughter's, Kimberly Ann and Kelly Marlene.
Kathryn had always wanted to be a missionary in Africa. God had other plans. Not dreaming she would be a missionary in a different way. Bill's job would move Kathryn and their daughters many times to many cities and states. They lived in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Northern and South California, Michigan, Washington DC area and Ohio. Kathryn loved to teach Bible studies or Sunday school, show and share God's love, play the piano and sing God's praise. She touched many lives in all their many moves.
In 2021 Kathryn moved to Michigan to be near family. She loved to spend her time reading her Bible and praying for people. Kathryn was always sweet and grateful. She will be greatly missed.
Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Glover and Kelly (Ryan) Lehr, grandchildren, Kyle O'Connor, Austin Glover, Megan Lehr and Jace Lehr along with her sister, Marlene Miller.
Kathryn was proceeded in death by her mother Ella Marie Froehlich, husband Bille Eugene O'Connor, sister Ada Jean Greer, and brother-in-law Kenneth Miller.
Services will be private.
