Kathryn Anne Parker, a successful retired candy maker and business owner of HoneyByrd Sweets, passed away at the age of 68. Kathryn began her career by receiving an honorable discharge, serving in the Air Force under the 31 TACTICAL FIGHTER UNIT. Thereafter, she put her experience to work for 18 years as Administrative Manager at The University of Rochester, NY. She was instrumental in maintaining order and schedules for both staff and students throughout the years. Later in life, Kathryn met her, soon to be, husband, Howard, where they both brought her candy making ability to life and for 15 years she created a marvel for the community and many in the world, to enjoy! Kathryn leaves behind her husband of 23 years, Howard Mosoff, and her sister, Sherry Decelles and brother, Donald Parker. Kathryn’s final wish during her last week was to donate her body to the sciences, however, there simply wasn’t enough time to set this up prior to her passing. Therefore, the next best thing is, donating to the sciences and in particular to the Rheumatology Research Foundation . This is a great way to show your support. Instead of consoling the family with flowers or food, please help others suffering from this Rheumatic Disease, by making any sized donation at the following link below .

Kathy & I were best friends in high school. She was the kindest young woman I´d ever known. She cared deeply for her mom & was a very responsible daughter & friend. We lost touch when I left Rochester in our early 20´s...Today would have been her 69th birthday & I´m heartbroken to find out that theres no longer a chance to see her again. I have some high school pictures of us that I still look at & smile. She was a true friend
