Reagon and her partner Brian Goulart of East Boston; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Tess, Elizabeth, and James as well as sisters-in-law Dorothy Lortie of Centerville and Mary Magnante of West Brookfield, and six nieces and a nephew.

She was predeceased by her husband James J. Reagon, her parents, Martin and Marion Krutzky of Worcester, and her two sisters Joanne Conte of Grafton, and Judith Horne of Andover.

Kate graduated from North High School in 1965 and earned a bachelors degree from Worcester State College. She worked for Clark University while earning a masters degree in education from Cambridge College in 1996. She went on to be a passionate teacher for Worcester Public Schools for over 20 years, ending her career at the Gerald Creamer Center teaching high school English.

After retiring, she volunteered her time with the nonprofit CASA as a court appointed special advocate for children in Worcester County.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, the beach, especially at the Cape and relaxing in the sun. She was an avid reader and belonged to a book club with her dearest friends. She loved to cook and travel. She was a dog lover, in particular her three granddogs; Murray, Walter, and Lucy.

Kate's family wishes to thank her many friends for their unwavering support and her amazing medical team who provided exceptional care and compassion.
