Kathryn Louise Smith Wilson, age 89, of De Queen, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Bear Creek Healthcare.
She was born January 19, 1934 in De Queen to Edgar Lee Smith and Iva Jones Smith. Kathryn was a 1953 graduate of De Queen High School. She was married to Ronald Kenneth Hudson until his death on May 22, 1965. Kathryn attended Southern State College in Magnolia. She married Ray Wilson on August 11, 1966 in De Queen. Kathryn worked at the First National Bank and a was a member of First Baptist Church.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ronnie Hudson, daughter Lisa Wilson Clements, and brother Edward "Buster" Smith.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Ray Wilson of De Queen, niece Kathy Johnson and husband Lonnie of De Queen, nephew Charles Smith and wife Debbie of Grand Prairie, Texas, five great-nieces and nephews, and five great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Redmen Cemetery pavilion with Charles Smith officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2023 at the funeral home in De Queen.
