Kathryn Marie Weil, 79, of Dennison, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, after several years of failing health. Born April 30, 1943 in Sutton, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Della (Facemire) Riffle.
On September 9, 1961, Kathryn married Arnold Willard Weil with whom she enjoyed over sixty years of marriage until his passing on February 12, 2022. They are survived by their daughter, Shelia (Stephen) Cooper; grandson, Nick (Holi) Wagner; great-granddaughter, Nicole (Tyler) Hornback; great-great-grandson, Karter Lucas Hornback; and many nieces and nephews, including Rebecca (Mike) Leith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Caroline "Susie" Koegle.
Kathryn had resided in Tuscarawas County since 2009, having previously spent much of her life in Uniontown, Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and homemaker who had devoted her life to her family. She will be remembered for her love of music.
According to her wishes, Kathryn was interred beside her beloved husband at Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens following private services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
