Born: August 7, 1950 | Died: February 4, 2026
Kathy Whitehead, age 75, of Maryville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mildred Bailey, father-in-law and mother-in-law, DC and Lois Whitehead; sister and brother-in-law, Edna Jean and Billy Joe Phelps; brother and sister-in-law, David and Jane Bailey; brothers-in-law Duane Hammer and Robert Woolery.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 56 years, Gary Whitehead; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jacob Tucker and grandson Nash Tucker; sisters Jenny Hammer of Land-'O-Lakes, FL, Lynda Woolery of Friendsville, TN; several very special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews ,their families, and special friend of the family, Ralph Forester. No services are planned at this time, but a celebration of life will be held for friends and family in the future. To honor Kathy's memory, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org; Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516; or St Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org
