Kathryn Lorene Workman

Mrs. Kathryn Workman, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 102. Graveside services for Mrs. Workman will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton, Tennessee on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Charles Pratt officiating.

She was born November 29, 1922, in Tiptonville, TN; the daughter of the late Harry Herman Jordan and Mattie Keathley Jordan. She was a seamstress at Kellwood Manufacturing for 40 years. Mrs. Workman was a faithful member of the Kenton First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School children’s classes for 40 years.

She is survived by her four children, Dennis Hixson, Woodrow Workman Jr., Pamela Foster, and Timothy Workman; one sister, Ann Huffine; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Workman Sr., and her parents.

Visitation with family and friends will begin Monday, November 24, 2025, at 12:00 – 1:45 pm in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Kathryn Lorene Workman.
