Kathryn Elliott Yount, 89, of Dixon, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her home. She worked for 30+ years as a realtor for Century 21 then Crawford Realty, retiring in 2015.
Kathryn was born on February 15, 1936, in Nevada, IA, the daughter of Jim and Margaret (Munson) Elliott. Kathryn was a member of the Rock River Garden Club, Phidian Art Club, PEO, and a Rotary Member. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Dixon. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, dancing, taking pictures, playing cards with her grandkids, and spending time with her family.
Kathryn is survived by her three daughters, Krista (Ryan) LaDieu, Juli (Tim) Misch, Jodi (Jeff) Spiekermann; brother, Tom Elliott; two sisters, Norma Elliott, Sandra Thompson; and eight grandchildren, Justin Spiekermann, Skyler Misch, Mason Misch, Nathan Spiekermann, Hailey LaDieu, Kaitlyn LaDieu, Megan Spiekermann, Logan Misch.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Elliott; two sisters, Shirley (Richard) Krotaska, Maxine (Bill) Baker; brother-in-law, Duane Thompson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Elliott.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church, Dixon, IL, with Rev. Cheyanna Losey, officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be directed to Dixon in Bloom or the Rock River Garden Club.
Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
