Kathy Burd

Kathy Burd, 65, of Sunbury, Pennsylvania passed away on March 28, 2025 at her home. Kathy was born April 29, 1959 and was the daughter of the late Willard King and Nancy Burd, and half sister of Harold Erlo. She is survived by her sister Darlene and husband Jack Semerod. Two nephews, Jackie and wife Madison Semerod as well as Jesse Semerod. She was an active member of Susquehanna Valley Arc and Suncom for 31 years. Kathy was a very friendly, stylish woman with a contagious smile, showed empathy and tenderness toward others, and loved a good ice coffee from Dunkin Donut. Kathy enjoyed shopping and creating colorful art, that she would proudly display. She was the life of the party with a wonderful sense of humor that would easily cause those around her to laugh. She was truly a joy at social gatherings and a wonderful friend. Family and friends are welcome to attend services Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00a to 11:00a at Zweier's Funeral Home in Sunbury. Graveside services will be private.
