Kathy Ruth Casteel

Kathy Ruth Casteel passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2025. Kathy was the heart of every gathering-always cooking, organizing meals, and creating a warm, welcoming space for friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making others laugh. A talented interior designer with a beautiful singing voice, Kathy brought creativity and joy into every room she entered. She was also a devoted parent and a passionate animal lover, caring deeply for every creature that crossed her path. She was a member of First Baptist Church Cleveland, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruth Casteel; her brothers, Bill Casteel; Tom Casteel; her sister, Joanne Davis.

She is survived by her spouse Bill Crisp of 35 year and her sons Vincent Pierce of Parrish Fl. Shane Crisp of Decatur Tn. Surviving siblings are Ben (Donna) Casteel, Joy (Tommy) Frazier, Mark (Darlene) Casteel, Laney (Bill) Sanders all of Cleveland Tn. along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 17th at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404. Kathy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
