It is with sad hearts that Mr. Ronnie Davis announce the passing of his wife, Mrs. Kathy Sinclair Davis. Mrs. Davis passed away April 10, while at McCoy Nursing Center.
Kathy graduated from Bishopville High School in 1973 where she was head cheerleader and Miss Dragon.
Kathy taught K3 at Robert E. Lee Academy and worked in daycare for many years. She loved her little kids. She was an avid gardener and her yard was her favorite place to be. Her three grandchildren - Kirkland, Landon, and Harper were the light of her life. When she wasn't in the yard, you would find her in the kitchen and she loved feeding everyone she could. She was sweet, feisty, and the rock of her family. She was always your biggest cheerleader and you knew where you stood with her.
Surviving is her husband, Norman Ronald (Ronnie) Davis, Bishopville; Her daughter, Jessica (Jordan) Atkinson, Camden; sister, Vickie (Allan) Thigpen, Sumter; brother, Robert (Kathleen) Sinclair, Darlington; three grandchildren, Kirkland, Landon and Harper Atkinson, Camden ;nieces and nephews are, Tomie Sue Wolff, Taylor Purvis, Danielle Adams,Travis Sinclair, Sarah Weinstein; the great nieces and nephews are, Daniel Adams, Gracie Adams, Jenny-Lynn Lawhon, Vicktoria Slade, Connor Purvis, Logan Purvis, Lincoln Sinclair, Emilia Weinstein; one great great niece, Emmie Kate Lawhon; Brother in law, Danny Davis, Bishopville, S.C.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 15 at 2:00 at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Rev. Keith Allison will officiate. A visitation will be held following the service at the funeral home.
Norton Funeral Home and Crematory of Bishopville is honored to serve the Davis family.
