Kathy Emmons Obituary
Kathy “Julie” Emmons passed away at the age of 63 on October 4, 2023. Kathy was a long-time resident of Covington, Louisiana. She was born on December 1, 1959 in Covington, Louisiana to June “Coot” Blackwell and Marlene Blackwell. Kathy is survived by her caring husband Danny Emmons, her son Joshua Blackwell (Natalie), Siblings Cynthia Guillory (Steve), Sarah Norman (Bret) and Grand-Daughter Lily Blackwell. She loved her parrots and her two huskies. She loved traveling the world with her loving Husband. Most of all, she loved her home "A Piece of Parrotdise" This was her world. A Memorial service was held on October 15, 2023 with family and friends in Kathy’s honor.
