Kathy Marie Fleming

Kathy Marie Fleming, 76, of Fredericktown, passed away early Thursday, January 29, 2026, to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born January 12, 1950, a beloved daughter of the late Martha and Henry Kiefer of Clarksville. She is survived by her two sisters, Maleah Kiefer and Angela Travis. She attended Bethlehem-Center High School and worked as a dog groomer for many years. She married her late husband, Joseph Fleming, August 26, 1967, and they had raised four daughters together: Tammy Heinz, Lisa Lere (Carl), the late Myra Fleming and Landa Lemley (Perry). She is survived by her dear son-in-law, Richard White; her grandchildren: Joshua Fleming, Kristen Heinz, Seth Lere, Ashley Fleming, Perry Lemley, Alex Lere, David and Caleb Heinz and Jaden Fleming; her great-grandchildren: Jase O'Kernick, Gabby Bobela and Owen and Scout Lere; and two dear nephews, Ronnie Jenkins and Derrick Price. She is remembered as being the adventurous grandmother who devoted her days to playing with her grandchildren outside, oftentimes snake hunting and doing yard work. She enjoyed arts and crafts, was an avid bingo player and spent her evenings holding her dog, Sandy, while watching WWE Wrestling and her favorite football team, The Pittsburgh Steelers. She attended Calvary Chapel of Fredericktown, and was a loving caretaker to many friends, family and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Bunny) Deems; and her brother, John Kiefer. Thank you to her dear nurse, Jamie Fleming, for always taking great care of her.
