Kathy Delle Jackson Garner, lovingly known as a devoted mother, cherished sister, and beloved granny, passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born on May 23, 1954, to Virgil Jackson and Madelle Jackson in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Jackson Jr. and Madelle Jackson, sister, Alane King, and brother, Virgil Wayne Jackson.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Mike Garner; children, Terry Garner (Amy), daughter, Shelly Smith (EJ), four grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Travis Garner, Logan Smith, Katie Garner, step-grandson, Cade Smith, sister, Linda Morgan, sister-in-laws, Tracie Garner and Darla Gillespie as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family.
A service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11:00 am at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas. Intermittent to follow at Glade Creek Cemetery. Family will have a visitation Thursday, November 9, 2023 5:00-7:00 pm.
