Kathy Godfrey Obituary
Kathy is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Stephen Godfrey and his wife Patricia, Lori Speelman and her husband Robert Sr., and Victoria Godfrey. She also leaves behind a large and beloved family of nieces and nephews: Kevin Luckenbaugh, Jessica Godfrey, Cassie Holtzapple, Kayla Lawrence, Jamie Smith, Robert Speelman Jr., Jeremy Speelman, Nicholas Haley, Audrey Smith, Jarrod Love, Brayden Speelman, Mariah Smith, Madison Love, Mason Love, Makenzie Speelman, Kaitlyn Speelman, Jalissa Smith, Matthew Holtzapple, Jaxon Speelman, Jemma Smith, Lexie Speelman, Austin Speelman, and Kolton Luckenbaugh. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her nephew Kenneth Luckenbaugh III; and her beloved dog Freeway.
Kathy dedicated herself to her career as a massage therapist at Swank Chiropractic in Dover, Pennsylvania. Her work brought comfort and healing to many over the years. Known for her radiant smile and selfless nature, she touched the lives of everyone she met. Kathy found joy in traveling and planning adventures of all kinds. She cherished time spent with family and friends, whether playing cards with her card club or attending the school and sports events of her nieces and nephews.
In a final act of generosity that reflected her compassionate spirit, Kathy donated her body to science in hopes of contributing to a future free from cancer.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a later date for friends and family to honor her memory. May the love she shared continue to inspire all who knew her.

Kathy was not only my massage therapist, but she was also a confidant and friend. Kathy's loving heart and care for others shone through in her daily interactions with others. She continually sought to help others experience full wellness, and she was filled with spunk and an insatiable desire to pursue adventures! I'll miss Kathy, but I'm so glad I'll see her again on the other side of glory.

Kathy worked with my mom Dawn Thoman at the Spring Grove VFW and was kind and loving towards both of my parents. We once went on a bus trip with her it was one of the most fun trips that I have ever had because she of her. My Sympathies for your loss.Shirl Rebert

I said hearing shock as I was just been thinking so much about you lately. Thank you. Thinking that I needed to have you come over and we exchange massage is you fault? You fought the big flight Kathy and you were such an inspiration to me as my friend. My massage therapist. And taught me many modalities that I had not known before.I will miss you were A great listener and always had Wise cancel.
For me. We often talk about God and how much he meant in your life.And now you have the chance to meet him. I will miss you very much Kathy. No you don't have to fight can rest. As for your family, you were highly regarded by meant the world to her.
God bless you in your time of sorrow. Just know that You were highly regarded in her life.Everyone of you.
