In Loving Memory of Kathy Hornal Grace
September 9th, 1953 - January 7th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kathy Lynn Grace, on January 7th, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on September 9th, 1953, in Nashville, she was a devoted mother to her sons, Timothy Grace and Joshua Grace, and her daughter, Amanda Grace.
Kathy was a compassionate, kind, and generous soul, known for her intelligence and creativity. She found joy in reading, music, cooking, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities. A talented writer and graduate of Pearl Cohn High School. Kathy often penned poetry and songs, sharing her love of words with those around her. One of her most cherished works was a song she wrote titled "Somebody's Child,"which touched the hearts of many as it spoke about military families losing children to war.
Her home was always filled with the warmth of music and the purring of cats, reflecting her nurturing spirit. Kathy often shared her light-hearted spirit with her favorite saying, "No kidding," a phrase that became a loving reminder of her playful nature.
Above all, Kathy was a survivor who always found a way to take care of her family. Her strength and dedication were an inspiration to all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by her children, family, and friends. Her compassionate heart and generous spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
