Kathy Helms Obituary
Kathleen "Kathy" Helms, 67, of Paulding, passed away March 11, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital.
Kathy was born on June 25, 1958, in Ithaca, NY, a daughter of Helen House.
Kathy devoted most of her life to being a homemaker, pouring her time and love into caring for her family and those around her. On February 14, 1979, she married the love of her life, George Helms Sr., beginning a partnership that meant the world to her. Kathy was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Steelers, and she enjoyed listening to oldies music and getting lost in a good romance novel. Known for her caring heart, she was always willing to help anyone in need. Everyone who knew her lovingly called her “Momma,” because she was always there with the warmth, support, and guidance of a mother. Kathy was generous and kind, laughed often, and truly loved life.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Rebecca Davis, Kati Helms, Jacqulyn Helms, George Helms, Jr., & Casey Helms; siblings, Anthony House, Sandi Williams, Robert House, & David Schultz; 7 grandchildren; & 7 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her, husband, George; mother, Helen House; & siblings, Dinah Maguire & Richard Maguire.
Kathy will be laid to rest privately.
