Kathy Ann Hinson, 63, of Wilmington DE

Kathy Ann Hinson, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on December 6, 1961, in Chester, PA. Kathy was the daughter of the late Curtis Hinson Jr. and Elizabeth Hinson (Albert). She graduated from Claymont High School and Brandywine College (Wilmington, DE). She went on to work as an Administrative Assistant in Operations for several retail department stores over several decades. For the past five years, she was employed as a Senior Operations Specialist for Visiting Angels/Living Assistance Services of Bryn Mawr PA, where she was known for her hard work and dedication.

In Kathy's earlier years, she enjoyed attending NASCAR races with friend Carol Blien and vacationing in Virginia Beach VA with friend Barb Saitto. She also enjoyed camping and crabbing in Chestertown, MD with sister Beverly, brother-in-law Ronnie and her nephew Jimmy Lakin. Later in her life, she enjoyed entertaining friends at her home, especially her annual Christmas party and her Halloween bingo luncheon.

Kathy was known for being kind and giving. She was the best gift-giver, always putting immense thought into the gifts she gave to others. Her home was always graciously decorated for the holidays, and she loved to share the holidays with family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Hinson Jr. and Elizabeth Hinson. She is survived by her loving fiancé Kurt Bachmann of Wilmington DE; stepfather Robert Wallace of Wilmington DE; sister Beverly Lakin of Linwood, PA; brothers Curt Hinson (Michele) of Lewes DE and James Hinson of New Orleans LA; stepsister Kaddie Wallace of Prescott AZ; and nephews Taylor Hinson (Lauren) and Keegan Hinson; niece Emily Hinson, and great nephew Kit Hinson.

A visitation will be held at Location on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood, PA..
