Kathy Marie Maxey, 73, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, December 25th, at Monroe County Medical Center ER.

Kathy was born in Fountain Run, KY on February 23, 1952, a daughter of the late Wilma (Wilborn) and Calvin Holman.

She graduated from Gamaliel High School, married Ernest Maxey April 23, 1969, worked at Red Kapp for over 25 years and was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church. Some of her hobbies were reading, going to church and teaching Sunday school.

Kathy is survived by a daughter, Chandra Haskins, of Bowling Green, KY;
a son,Kelly Maxey, of Tompkinsville, KY; is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren

Kathy is also survived by four sisters, Francis Kirk, of Fountain Run, KY; Nina Holman, of Bowling Green, KY; Wilma Jones, of Indianapolis, IN; Robbie Foust, of Indianapolis, IN.
Her parents, Calvin and Wilma Holman and husband, Ernest Maxey preceded her in death.

Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Saturday, January 3rd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Jeffery Jones will officiate.

Visitation will be held 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, January 3rd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.

Burial is in Mt Nebo Cemetery, KY.

My Dear Sister, Kathy
You will truly be missed. I will miss our calls our conversations the laughter and occasional advice that was truly appreciated even through all your pain and struggles. You always had a kind word to offer up to help me put things in perspective. You are more than just a sister to me. This is hard and I´m very sad, but I´m also happy that you´re now no longer have any pain. I was also told that there are no tears in heaven. Ohh how happy it will be for you. I hope you knew how much I loved you. Kathy, as you closed your eyes to this earthly home rest in peace. The love and memory of you will forever be a blessing to me...
