Kathy A. Ramirez, age 55 passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Florida on October 11, 1969 to George and Mary Frances Harper McGowan. Kathy loved to travel, take care of her grandchildren and spend time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father; brother, Allen McGowan and her sister, Nancy Carter.
She is survived by her children, Marvin Farmer, James Farmer, George Farmer and Chasity Farmer; mother, Frances McGowan; sister, Mary Richardson; grandchildren, Llayla Merritt, Kaleb Merritt, Steven Merritt, Lily Farmer, Garren Farmer, Jacob Wilcox, Corgen Wilcox and Mark Wilcox; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
