Kathy was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, proudly raising her four children as a successful single mother. Her passion for nurturing extended beyond her own family; she found immense joy in starting her own daycare after successfully completing a daycare certification program. Through her daycare, she provided not just care but a space of warmth and support for children. Kathy's ability to listen to others was unparalleled, as she was always willing to lend an ear, no matter the time of day. Friends and family alike often turned to her for comfort and guidance, and she was known for being a helping hand, ready to give her last to anyone in need.
Her personality was described as loving, giving, and big-hearted. Kathy’s hard work and sympathetic nature left an indelible impression on everyone she encountered. She delighted in life’s simple pleasures, finding joy in tending to her beloved plants and enhancing her beauty with makeup and accessories that showcased her vibrant personality. An enthusiastic neat freak, she took pride in her surroundings, allowing her love for organization to complement her creative side. Music was the soundtrack of her life, and her faith brought her solace; she found peace and community within the walls of her church.
As a proud mother, Kathy’s greatest accomplishments were her four children: Jasmine, Devonte', Carlisha, and Ahmad. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their upbringing, fostering a loving and supportive environment that shaped the lives of her children. Kathy was not only a mother but also a grandmother to her only grandbaby, Dazarria, who brought her immense joy and affection.
Kathy leaves behind her devoted mother, Arene Wright. Her passing brings a deep sense of loss for her family and friends, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
