Kathy Marie Scheivert

Kathy Marie Scheivert (Shrader), 74, passed away peacefully on November 28,2025. in York, Pennsylvania - the city where she was born and spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends.
Born on June 18,1951, in York, Kathy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Shrader (Little). She graduated from York Catholic High School in 1969 and remained deeply connected to her hometown community throughout her life.
Kathy was a devoted mother to her son James Heath and his wife Tami, and her daughter Laura Scott and her husband DarryllJay. She also embraced her blended family with open arms, including stepdaughter Caryn Scheivert and stepson Shawn Scheivert. She also had a "bonus daughter" Behan Fedal whom she loved like her own daughter. Her love extended across generations to her cherished grandchildren - Stephanie, Alexandria, Sabrina, Zachary, Trevor, Elizabeth, Matthew, Kaden and Abigail. And ten great-grandchildren who brought joy to her later years.
She shared many loving years of marriage with her beloved husband Steven until his passing. Kathy also experienced the loss of her parents and her brother Joseph.
Family was at the heart of Kathy's world. She is fondly remembered by her siblings; sister Brenda Bowman and husband John; sister Patricia Brashears and husband Joseph; brother Dennis Shrader and wife Ruby; as well as sister in law Susan Shrader. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and so many friends who all held a special place in her heart.
Kathy's warmth touched many lives across generations. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
