Kathy Scott Obituary
Kathy worked as a teaching assistant for Lawrence Township Schools for several years before retiring. She enjoyed bicycling, tennis, walking, and was a very avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Scott; son, Nathan Scott; father, Delmas O. Smothers; brother, Gregory Smothers; and sister, Roberta (Dennis) Kelley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Fay Smothers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary with viewing 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
