Kathy Jo Sellers, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 18, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Bill and Virginia Sellers on September 21, 1957 in San Antonio, TX. Kathy was a member of the Gosnell Baptist Church and had a strong relationship with the Lord. She graduated from Gosnell High School in 1975 and Arkansas State University in 1981. Kathy was a dedicated employee at Apex Tool Group for 39 years. She served as the Logistics Supervisor and loved her job. Kathy loved fishing, boating, and golf, but her greatest past time was spending time with her family and friends. For the past 25 years she has been lovingly known as Aunt Khaki by every child who entered the Bass Family. It was a name she embraced and was proud of. In addition to her parents Kathy was preceded in death by her life partner Melinda Bass and her fur baby Harley Jo.
Kathy is survived by her daughters Kori Huggins (Candice), and Jackie Dawn (Michael); God son, Tristan Meredith; grandchildren, Ayden, Addie, Allie, and Witten. Her brother Ricky Sellers, Sisters; Debbie Jones, Sandra Burch, and Lisa Holifield. Kathy was also survived by her precious fur babies Penny Jo and Jethrine. Kathy left behind a host of other family and friends who loved her and whom she loved dearly. Her loss will have a significant impact on all who knew her.
