Kathy Marie Thomas

Kathy Marie Thomas was born September 30, 1950 in Duncan, Oklahoma to H.C. "Buzz" and Jesse Lois (White) Anderson. She completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 75.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 14, at Whitt Funeral Home. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 15, at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Kathy graduated with the Duncan High School Class of 1968. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone as a secretary. She enjoyed reading, watching television, and talking on the phone. She loved all pets, but especially little dogs. Growing up, her favorite pastime was car rides around Duncan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her son, Billey Randall Blankenship; husband, Roy Lynn Thomas; brother, Pat Anderson; sister-in-law, Darla Anderson; and nephew, Casey Ray Anderson.
Kathy is survived by her son, Brent Blankenship and wife Arcelia Ayala-Blankenship; four grandchildren: Gabriella Roberts and husband Josh Roberts of Oklahoma City; Abigail Simmons and partner Yadira Puente of Kansas City, Missouri; Blaine Shockley of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Louis Weems and wife Sadie Weems of St. Louis, Missouri; and great grandchild, Francis Roberts of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her brother, Mike Anderson of Duncan.
