Kay Brown, 81, of Oakland City, Indiana, peacefully passed away on October 22, 2025, at the Linda White Hospice House, with her loving family by her side. Kay was born on August 11, 1944, to Glenn and Delouris Cox, in Oakland City, Indiana.
Kay was a very outgoing, social person, who was always smiling. She loved big and cared deeply for others. She has a loving Yorkie named Harley who she loved to pieces. Kay loved her family with her whole heart she loved to spend time with them and enjoy their presence, especially her grandchildren. Kay will be deeply missed in the hearts of her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Brown; her daughters, Dina (John) Wilkison, Angie (Dottie) Bajzath; her grandchildren, Kenan (Andrea) Bajzath, Garrett Bajzath, Torry Brown; her great grandchildren, KeAndre and Kylan Bajzath; her siblings, Mona Davis, Clara Cox, Debbie (Joe) Hoover, and Donnie (Judy) Cox.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Delouris Cox; her brothers, William Bill Cox, Paul Cox, Bobby Cox, and Jimmy Cox; her sisters, Linda Miskell and Georgetta Kozar; her granddaughter and great grandson, Camry Brown and Chance Farias.
A visitation will be held on Monday October 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel. A service will begin at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Montgomery Cemetery. Reverend Darin Nossett will be officiating.
In lieu of donations, can be made in Kay's honor to the Montgomery Cemetery and the East Gibson Food Bank.
