John Goodall

John Gregory Goodall, 50, of Francisco, Indiana, passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025. John was born on October 10, 1975, in Dale, Indiana, to the late Freddie and Deborah Goodall.
John attended Tecumseh High School before proudly serving his country as a U.S. Army Veteran. John was a member of the L.A. Sportsman Club and the Elberfeld Legion. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the smoker. He had a knack for wheelin and dealin for great deals. He and Mistie were always getting into interesting adventures, there was never a dull moment with him around. John's greatest joy in life without a doubt was his family. They meant everything to him.
John will be remembered as the most caring and generous man who always wore a smile, the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was the coolest Papaw, a loving husband and father, and a loyal friend to many. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be missed beyond measure.
John is survived by his loving wife, Mistie (Stokes) Goodall; his children, Cory Mofield (Kaylee), Kohl Goff, Austin McGill, Cody Goodall (Josh), Novalee Goodall, and Lexuss Ellerbrook; and his beloved grandchildren, Weston, Amonica, Ashlynn, and Annabelle.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Deborah Goodall; and his late wife Stephanie Goodall (Bradshaw).
A visitation will be held on Saturday October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Montgomery Cemetery with a Military Service, Pastor Douglas Low will be officiating. There will be a dinner at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Oakland City, Indiana.
