Kay Evinger Obituary
Kay Frances (Beeler) Evinger, 84, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family at 1:53pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
She was born October 19, 1939 in Lafayette, IN to Russell Gilbert Beeler and Frances Philena (May) Beeler.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tommy D. Evinger; her four children, Brenda Hanrahan Seifers (Harold Seifers), Phyllis Hanrahan (Jason Petty), Joseph "J.B." Hanrahan and Ron Hanrahan. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Joshua Jeffries (Mandi), Leon Seifers, Alaina Seifers Smith (Josh), Matthew Seifers (Connie), Bayleigh Hanrahan (Noah), Aisling "Azzy" Hanrahan, Devon Hanrahan, Megan Westfall Ziemendorf (Chris), Hanna Petty and Daniel Petty (Amaya); and great-grandchildren, Emaleigh Jeffries, Adilyn Jeffries, Lyla Smith, Willow Smith, Kohen Smith, Elaina Smith, Harper Binion, Kyler Smith, Brynlee Ziemendorf, Ayla Petty and Mila Petty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Beeler Day; and brothers, Russell "Roy" Beeler and Ronald "Keith" Beeler.
She attended school in Terre Haute and was a stay-at-home mom until she went to work at Col- umbia Records in 1975. She was a tre- mendous cook and a lover of dogs. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and fishing. But, above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She particularly loved having family dinners and playing cards.
Her wish was to be cremated and arrangements have been made with the Samaritan Funeral Home to honor that wish. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
She is deeply loved and will be forever missed until we see her again.
