Kay F. Nethercutt, 88, of Goshen died Monday, May 5, 2025 at Waterford Crossing.
She was born August 13, 1936 in Goshen to Kenneth and Mae (Sheets) Holdread.
On August 12, 1956 she married Eugene W. Nethercutt in Goshen. He died June 14, 1997.
She is survived by a son, Wayne (Julie) Nethercutt of Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Deb Nethercutt of Goshen; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Colleen Shriner and a brother, Philip (Jackie) Holdread, both of Goshen.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Kyle; and son, Bruce Nethercutt.
A loving homemaker, Mrs. Nethercutt worked as a secretary for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for 15 years. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, and loved spending time with family and grandchildren. Kay was a gifted china painter as well.
She was a current member of First United Methodist Church, Middlebury, where a memorial service will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. with one hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Her cremated remains will be buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Goshen next to Eugene.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association; https://www.alz.org.
