Kaydel Eubank Hendrix

Kaydel Eubank Hendrix, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 28, 2025.
Kaydel was born on April 19, 1945, to Delbert and Kathryn Eubank. She spent her childhood and early adult years in Lubbock, Texas-a place she loved deeply and cherished throughout her life.
A devoted Christian woman, Kaydel was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, where she faithfully and joyfully served her church family by teaching Sunday school, helping with Vacation Bible School, and volunteering in many other ministries. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived, served, and loved others.
Kaydel dedicated 20 years of service as a clerical supervisor with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Parole Division, before retiring in 2009. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and ability to connect with anyone she met.
Above all, Kaydel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She truly loved people and never met a stranger-always ready to strike up a conversation wherever she went. She found joy in life's simple pleasures: tending to and admiring flowers, birdwatching, napping outside in the warm sunshine, listening to her beloved hymns, and cheering on her favorite football and baseball teams. She was known to enjoy binge-watching her favorite television shows.
She is survived by her daughters, Kara Jones and husband Jeremy Jones of Tennessee Colony, Texas, and Kathy Navasard of Katy, Texas; her son, Preston Hendrix and partner Jessica Rose of Tennessee Colony, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her sister, Lissa Edwards and husband Richard of Lubbock, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Kathryn Eubank; her brother, Jerry Eubank; and her beloved granddaughters, Trinity Jones and Adaline Hendrix.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
Her legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love will continue to bloom in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
