Funeral services for Celsa Estrada Martinez, age 69, of Palestine are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home officiated by Harold Fox. A burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Herrington Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martinez passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Celsa was born on July 28, 1956, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico to Nuberto and Julia Estrada. From an early age, faith became the foundation of her life. The Lord was first and foremost in her heart, and she lived each day guided by her deep devotion. She desired above all that her family know and have a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, and she shared that faith through both her words and the way she lived. Family was everything to Celsa. She was a loving and caring person who placed the needs of others before her own. She especially cherished her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Celsa was a woman of God and a woman of her word. When she made a promise, she kept it. She believed in doing things the right way and never put off what needed to be done. Her strength, determination, and sense of responsibility were qualities that those around her admired deeply. She approached life with purpose and dedication, always striving to care for her family and live according to her beliefs. Her kindness, faith, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. Celsa leaves behind a legacy of devotion, compassion, and strength that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who were blessed to know and love her.

Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents Nuberto & Julia Estrada. Survivors include her husband, Santos Martinez; sons, Ruperto Martinez, and Adam Martinez; daughters, Lucia Martinez, Tina Beam and husband Philip, and Imelda Estrada; brothers, Oliverio Estrada, and Genaro Estrada; sisters, Andrea Estrada Castillo, and Ricarda Estrada; grandchildren, Azalia Roman, Irene Roman, Allison Jaramillo, Ariana Marie Beam, Philip Norbert Beam Jr., Elena Grace Beam, Samuel Fred Beam, Brianna Villegas, Bryan Estrada, Andrea Estrada, and Jose Ferretiz.
