Kayden Sue Morris, 15, of Niles, died Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Her life began August 29, 2009 in Niles, Michigan born to Bradley “Moe” Morris and Linda Morris.
Kayden loved music and singing. She was a member of the choir at school and bopping around the house to her tunes. She enjoyed the beach. Kayden cherished her brother, even though they fought often. She patiently and proudly loved her cat, Zeus, and her dog, Sampson. She was an avid reader especially love and romance stories.
Kayden will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her father and stepmother, Bradley “Moe” and Mary Jo Morris; her mother, Linda Morris; brother, Carl Morris, Lucus Horner; sister, Madison Horner; and her grandmother, Carlyn Morris.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Morris Jr. and Michael and Sue Benjamin.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
Kayden will be laid to rest beside grandparents in Silverbrook Cemetery.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Kayden be made to Niles High School Choir, 1441 Eagle Street, Niles, Michigan 49120.
