Kaye Marie Biermann

Kaye Marie Biermann, 75, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Keystone Villa.
She was born in Ephrata to Irene (Hatt) Smith and the late Grant C. Smith and was the longtime partner of the late Roy Ruppert.
Kaye worked as a mortgage loan originator in York and Lancaster for many years. Prior to that she also worked as a telephone operator receptionist at Science Press. Kaye was an avid seamstress and will be remembered for her impeccable dress and style. In her free time, she enjoyed online shopping.
In addition to her mother, Kaye is survived by a daughter, Melanie, wife of Tom White; two grandsons, Tristan White, Jared White, fiancé of Holly Burd; a stepdaughter, Lisa, wife of Bob Maurer; a stepson, Edward Biermann; two sisters, Jane, wife of Pat Adams and Cindy, wife of Pat McCullom.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gail, wife of the late John Althouse.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 1 to 2 PM, at Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Rd, Ephrata. Inurnment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
