Kaye Mason, entered into rest on December 13, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee, at the age of 83. She was born on May 6, 1942, in Springfield, Ohio. Kaye dedicated over 40 years of her life to caring for others in Sumner County as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Sumner Regional Medical Center, Hendersonville Medical Center, several medical offices, as well as home health.
Kaye was known for her compassionate nature and her unwavering commitment to her patients and community. A woman of strong Christian faith, she was an active participant at the First Baptist Church of Gallatin and Hendersonville. Her commitment to serving others extended beyond her professional life; she devoted time to volunteering, particularly visiting shut-ins, providing comfort and companionship to those in need. Kaye also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, reflecting her dedication to community service and fellowship.
In her personal life, Kaye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Tom Mason, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage. Together, they shared a passion for traveling by camper, creating lasting memories through their adventures. Kaye took great joy in spending time with her family playing puzzles and card games, embracing the moments that brought them together. She was also Atlanta Braves #1 baseball fan.
Her legacy will live on through her beloved family: husband Tom Mason; children Roy Mason (Debbie), Corinne Kirby (Travis), and Tommy Mason (Dana); grandchildren Tiffany Caison (Mitchell), Michael Russell (Felicia), Olivia Kirby, Brian Mason, Megan Mason, and Emma Mason; great-grandchildren Jonathan Caison, Kasey Caison, Brooklyn Russell, Emma Russell, and Elijah Russell; sister Judy Welch; and sister-in-law Tonda Robinson. She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Robinson; mother, Juanita (Conner) Robinson; and brother Doug Robinson.
Visitation to honor Kaye will be held at Crestview Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation, located at 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN 37066, on December 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, continuing on December 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on December 20 at 11:00 AM, with burial to take place at 12:00 PM.
