She passed peacefully in her sleep on July 21, 2025.
If you knew Kayla, you know how loving and caring she truly was. She had a big heart of gold and only wanted her 4 daughters to have the best she could provide. She loved her family, her friends and life.
Kayla would want this to be a celebration and not a funeral. Kayla accepted Jesus into her heart last year and in the end she knew she was going home to be with the Lord. I can say that she was not afraid.
She passed peacefully at home knowing that everything was going to be alright for her girls.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Wiilie J Nelson Sr.
Kayla leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lillian Nelson, 4 daughters: Kanaiyah Watkins, Kimani Bing, Kaliyah Barker, and Kamariyah Barker. Her sister Shandrika Porter, her brother Charles Porter Jr., her uncles Willie Nelson Jr., Shedrick Nelson, aunt Angel Watkins, loving cousin Tyarra Seymore entrusted aunt Diane Bing, Renee Garrett, Hailey Marie and many others who will miss her dearly.
