K.C. Sloan, age 69, passed away on Dec 30 2024 at McLaren Hospital Flint, in the loving embrace of his two daughters, Kristin Irwin (spouse Brian) and Lindsay Heidrich (Spouse Evan). He shared his daughters with previous spouse Camille Sloan.
To know K.C. was to love him. He was truly the coolest and grooviest guy. He had so many interests and was the smartest man in the room. He would only read non-fiction (usually about 8 books at a time) because he said there was just too much to learn, yet also the best sense of humor and really appreciated the comedic genius of The Three Stooges. He fiercely loved the ones that he allowed into his small inner circle and always prioritized spending time with them. We are comforted in knowing he has rejoined his parents Donald and Elizabeth Trent.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Isabella, Jackson and Gemma Irwin, Harper and Tyler Heidrich, who were all truly the apple of his eye.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11-2 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
Burial immediately following at the Romeo Cemetery.
