Keegan J. Larkin

Keegan J. Larkin, age 33, passed away unexpectedly at his new home in Madison Heights of natural causes on Saturday, December 14, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1991 in Bay City and was raised in Bridgeport. Keegan graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2009 where he enjoyed playing drums in the band. He then graduated from Michigan Tech University, majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering. Following graduation, Keegan went to work at Nexteer Automotive in Saginaw. He went back to school, this time at Michigan State University where he earned his Master of Electrical Engineering. Keegan then moved to Poland where he continued to work with Nexteer. He greatly enjoyed his time overseas, especially visiting Barcelona and Germany. Most recently, Keegan had moved to Madison Heights and was hired by Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. in Troy.
Keegan is survived by his parents, Raymond L. and Joan M. (Nieman) Larkin of Bridgeport; his brother, Raymond C. (Sarah) Larkin, III; his nephews and a niece, Owen, Charles and Hailey; his grandmothers, Joan M. Larkin and Mary Jo Nieman; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and of course, his fur babies, his dogs Ada and Edith. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond C. Larkin and Larry P. Nieman.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Trahan Funeral Chapel with Mr. Steve Prudhomme officiating. Visiting hours will be on Friday, December 27th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 28th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Charitable contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
